On September 21st and 22nd, the L Foundation partnered with Beers with Bald Man and held a concert featuring The Why Store and Willie Traywick. This event was held in Cincinnati at Angilo’s Pizza to raise money for cancer research. LeAnne’s daughter, Jade, presented a check for $7,000 to St. Jude Children’s Hospital on October 18, 2018. The significance of this day is that LeAnne passed away 5 years ago on this date. We are so blessed to be able to celebrate her life and continue to do her
good works. God is good, always!!!

FOREVER FRIENDS

Aiden and Jade met again in August of 2017 and are becoming forever friends. They first met in 2016. This year they shared a week in Boca Raton, Florida doing all the local venues, and sharing their commonality. Jade gave Aiden an accessory for his iPhone which the L Foundation presented to him in 2016.

Gateway is pleased to introduce our special guest, Jade. A brave and determined young girl, Jade is continuing the fight against ovarian cancer in her Mom's honor. Jade and her Grandma (Barb) live in South Florida and have started the L Foundation to help others with their cancer care.

We are so very grateful to have you join us in this journey... on behalf of all the patients, caregivers, family and friends who are counting on us, we deeply appreciate your support.

GATEWAY FOR CANCER RESEARCH

In August 2016, the L Foundation, through your memorial gifts honoring David's life (LeAnne's Dad), made it possible for Jade to present a $2,000 check to the President of Gateway for Cancer Research , Teresa Hall Bartels, as well as an iPhone to Aiden, an 11 year old, whose mother is living with multiple cancer concerns. We continue to expand on the L Foundation keeping LeAnne's memory alive and allowing Jade to experience the wonderful feeling of helping others while honoring the memory of her Mom.

GATEWAY FOR CANCER RESEARCH

October 2014, Jade and Grams traveled to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in the Chicago Area. Kim, a fantastic nurse at this facility who was of great help to LeAnne, assisted us in finding two children whose Mom is battling cancer.  Jade wanted to present them each with a mini iPad as Jade has found her iPad a great help in coping.  Kim also set up a meeting with Teresa Hall Bartels, President of Gateway, a cancer research company affiliated with CTCA. After a wonderful and informative visit, Jade presented Teresa with a check for $3,000 for cancer research, keeping her Mom's memory alive and helping others. Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible through your love and donation to the L Foundation!

A two day celebration began on July 18, 2014 to celebrate Virginia Lindsey’s (LeAnne's Maternal Grandmothers) 100th Birthday.  Friday night's celebration was held at the Terrace Park Country Club featuring the Blue Wisp Jazz Band.  Saturday night’s celebration was at STIR with lots of good food, an Opera Cream Cake and a DJ.  There were well over 100 people helping her celebrate this milestone.  Donations were made to the L Foundation, some in the form of 100 coins of any type.  Since these events we have also celebrated Virginia’s 101st, 102nd, 103rd and 104th!!!!!

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS

HOLIDAY CONCERT

The first L Foundation fund raiser was held in December 21, 2013 in Cincinnati Ohio at Stanley's Pub.  The Movement was the performing band.  They are an American Reggae band whose music is commonly described as a fusion of rock, reggae, hip-hop and acoustic music. This was a great way to kick off our L Foundation donations which were in turn given to cancer research.
